In what could be described as tragic, a moving train has crushed to death a deaf woman on the Lagos-Ibadan standard train tract.

The tragic event Naija News understands happened in Itoki, Ogun State on Wednesday evening.

A pamphlet the deceased had with her before the incident showed that she was deaf and only going about seeking help for her child.

She noted in the pamphlet that she wants her child to go to school but do not have money nor a job to carter for the baby’s need.

A Twitter user, Ojo Zacheus [@ojozacheus247] who shared the horrible occurrence on his TL wrote: β€œThe deaf woman was killed by the fed govt train at Itoki, Ogun state dis evn. D most painful part of dis story is dat she was lookin 4 who&how to help her baby. She has a small paper with her, written on it was her request. Plz help RT.”

While Nigerians on social media were feeling sorry for the situation, sensitive information was noticed on the pamphlet left behind by the deceased.

The deaf woman had noted the address of her baby in the pamphlet, suggesting that she deliberately sacrificed her life to save the life of her baby.

Naija News understands that in most cases, people with hearing impediments only explain their situations on the pamphlet and would not include their address.

However, in the case of the deceased, she boldly noted that she is requesting assistance for her child.

Some concerned Nigerians on the microblogging platform have since guy charged the State Governor, Dapo Abiodun to respond to the woman’s request and not let her baby suffer.
