‘They Should Not Eat It’ – Reactions As Huge Elephant Is Spotted In Ibadan

Nigerians on social media have urged a group of  Ibadan farmers who found a wandering elephant on their farmland not to kill it.

According to the Facebook user, Adesope Habeeb, the elephant said to be coming from the Benin Republic was spotted at Saki in Oyo State by some farmers.

He also shared the photos of the elephant being handled and led by humans, adding that the animal came some miles within his farm in Saki.

The photos have stirred reactions on social media, as many urged that the elephant be kept alive and not be eaten.
