‘Why Can’t You Help Your People’ – Singer Simi Tackles Nigerian Govt

Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko, simply known as Simi, has slammed the Nigerian Government over its inability to help and cater for her people.

The mother of one via Twitter joined voice with others to lament over several issues in the country, from insecurity to the increase in food items and others.

In her tweet, the songstress questioned the government on reasons why it has been unable to fix the country and help her people.

Simi also added that there is so much to gain in Nigeria if the Government fix the country.

She urged the Government to help citizens, stressing they are too blind to the big picture in making the system work better.

In her words: “I do not, for the life of me, understand how the government does not see how they, we have so much much much more to gain if they actually fixed the country. Why are they blind to the big picture. How much can you steal? How much can you spend? Why can’t you help your people?”
