Buhari's Eight Years In Power Was A Disaster - Jonathan’s Ex-Aide

A former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, has reacted to the arrest of Uche Nwosu, son-in-law of a former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha.

Naija News had reported that some policemen arrested Nwosu inside St Peter’s Anglican Church, Eziama Obieri in the Nkwerre Local Government Area of the state on Sunday.

In a statement by the spokesman of Imo Police Command, Michael Abattam, disclosed that Nwosu was not kidnapped as widely reported but was arrested by the police.

Reacting to Nwosu’s arrest on his Facebook page on Sunday evening, Chidoka condemned the police for invading a church to arrest the politician.

The former minister described the church invasion as a desecration of the house of God, calling on Christian bodies and groups to speak against it.

He stated that even the late German dictator, Adolf Hitler, respected the church during the 2nd World War and wouldn’t arrest anyone inside the church.

He wrote: “So Police entered a Church and arrested Uche Nwosu? Did they desecrate the Church to make an arrest?

“This is unacceptable and the Church and all well-meaning Nigerians should not take this lying down.

“Even the Nazis respected the Church during the 2nd World war. Nigerian Police just fell to a new low under a clueless national leadership.

“Mad people everywhere.
