Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has denied the report making rounds that his bank accounts have been frozen by the Federal Government.

He stated this following the reports that he pleaded with the Federal government to unfreeze his accounts.

There were speculations that Igboho rejected an award of recognition from the Yoruba Youth Socio-cultural Association (YYSA) due to the development.

An aide to Igboho while speaking with SahareReporters on Tuesday said his principal never claimed his accounts were frozen.

The aide who spoke with the news platform on the condition of anonymity said Igboho’s accounts were not frozen.

He called on newsmen to verify reports before publishing stories so as to avoid giving false reports.
