Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has been advised not to back down on his decision to send out Fulani herders from the state forest.

Joining other Nigerians to support Akeredolu on his decision, former Presidential aide, Remo Omokri took to his Twitter account on Wednesday, January 20 to say that Ondo would soon become like Southern Kaduna where people are killed on the daily if the governor backed down from the move.

Omokri insisted that the governor have every right and power to protect his people. He charged Akeredolu to stand up to President Muhammadu Buhari and his government now.

He tweeted: “Rotimi Akeredolu, we are fully behind you in your decision to take on the Federal Government in this matter of herdsmen troubling your state. You have the right and the power. Protect your people and let that AGIP creature, Garba Shehu, go to a very hot place!”

“Dear Rotimi Akeredolu, Stand up to General #Buhari now. If you back down, herdsmen will turn Ondo to Southern Kaduna, and will kill your people one by one. If Kano can have Hisbah and that useless Garba Shehu can’t talk, then use Amotekun to protect your people!”
