COVID-19: Lai Mohammed Reveals FG’s Decision On Fresh Lockdown Of Nigeria

Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has maintained that the federal government is not planning to impose another lockdown as the country battles the second wave of covid-19.

Mohammed made the submission on Monday in Lagos State during a conference where he responded to speculations that the government may impose another national lockdown as a result of the recent upsurge in cases of coronavirus infections in the country.

African Action Congress Presidential candidate during the 2019 general elections, Omoyele Sowore and four others have been remanded by a Magistrate Court sitting in Wuse Zone 2, Abuja in Kuje Correctional Centre pending the hearing of their bail applications.
