Lekki Shooting: Sanwo-Olu Has Been Exposed – Fani-Kayode

The Minister of Aviation under the Goodluck Jonathan administration, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the statement released by the 81 Division of the Nigerian Army on the shooting at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos State.

Recall that the 81 division of the Nigerian Army in a statement released on Tuesday noted that Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu invited them to intervene in the End SARS crisis.

However, the military denied shooting at peaceful protesters at the Lekki toll gate last week Tuesday.

Fani-Kayode in his reaction said the claim of the Nigerian Army is a grave implication on Sanwo-Olu.

The former Minister who took to his Twitter account said the Lagos State Governor has been thrown under the bus by the military.

He wrote: “The @HQNigerianArmy claim it was the LASG that asked for soldiers to be deployed at Lekki. The implications of this for @jidesanwoolu are grave. He has been thrown under the bus by the military.”
