Arsenal captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will sign a new deal with the North London club according to reports monitored on many sources.

The future of the 31-year-old who has been in a fantastic goal scoring form for the club has been in doubt as the two parties are yet to come to an agreement over a new contract.

Aubameyang currently has 11 months left on his current deal and the club is keen to tie him up to a new deal.

It has however emerged over the last 24 hours that an agreement is close between the two parties over the terms of a new contract for the striker and the details will soon be finalized.

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has on several occasions, expressed his desire to extend the player’s deal and keep the Gabonese international at the club.

It is reported that the North London side have repackaged their contract offer to Aubameyang and are now prepared to pay him £300,000-a-week to remain at Emirates.

The Gabonese international will be paid £300,000-a-week including bonus payments in his proposed new contract.
