English Premier League side, Arsenal have chosen Chelsea playmaker, Willian over Barcelona player, Philippe Coutinho, to the join the club during the transfer window.
According to UK Mirror, the North London side are expected to complete the transfer deal for the Willian next week.
The club manager, Mikel Arteta is keen on restructuring his team ahead of a new season and also build on the recent success at the FA Cup final.
Recall that Barcelona offered the Gunners the opportunity to sign Coutinho, but Arteta has snubbed the opportunity to sign Coutinho, even on loan for the season, in favour of landing Willian.
The Chelsea winger is the cheaper option of the two players and Arteta is ready to work with the Brazilian.
The Gunners technical director Edu has a good relationship with Kia Joorabchian, who represents both Willian and Coutinho and is an Arsenal fan himself.
