See The Only State In Nigeria Without Any COVID-19 Death

Taraba State has been identified by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) as the only state in Nigeria that is yet to record any COVID-19 related death.

According to the NCDC figures, Taraba State has so far recorded 54 COVID-19 cases out of which 11 have been discharged while 43 patients are still on admission.

So far, the state has not reported any COVID-19 related death.

Naija News recalls the index case of the coronavirus disease was recorded in Nigeria on Friday, 28th February 2020. The case was an Italian man who has since been successfully managed, recovered, and discharged.

Meanwhile, the NCDC on Sunday evening confirmed 304 new COVID-19 cases in Nigeria.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 43,841 out of which 20,308 cases have been discharged and 888 deaths recorded.
