Obaseki: Appeal Court Takes Decison Edo Governorship Election

Three members of the Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission, (EDOSOGPADEC) have resigned from their position as commissioners.

Atu Osawonmyi from Orhiomwon and Emmanuel Odigie from Esan South East and Hon Rilwan Oshiomhole From Etsako West all submitted their resignation letters to the Governor, as they restated their affiliation to the All Progressives Congress.

The battle for the governorship seat in Edo State is getting tougher with the former National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole raising allegation against the state governor, Godwin Obaseki, while he takes time out to clear-out the insulting words against Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

Recall that Oshiomhole on Sunday stated that he regrets his mistake of supporting Godwin Obaseki in the 2016 governorship.

Meanwhile, the commissioners noted that they got their positions in the first place as a result of their loyalty to the APC and have chosen to stay true to the cause that earned them their places.

They appreciated the state Governor for the opportunity he gave them to serve and wished him well in his bid to become governor of the state.

Governor Obaseki will be contesting against the governorship candidate of APC, Ize-Iyamu and other governorship candidates in the state.
