Edo 2020: Ganduje Backs Obaseki’s Disqualification, Gives Reason

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano, northern Nigeria has backed the disqualification of Governor Godwin Obaseki from the Edo APC governorship primary.

Naija News recalls that the All Progressive Congress (APC) screening committee had on Friday, disqualified Obaseki from the June 22 governorship primary election, over alleged “defective certificate”.

Edo 2020: APC NWC Takes Decision On Obaseki’s Disqualification After Meeting Gambari

The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday, insisted it would stand by the outcome of the recently-concluded screening of contestants for the governorship primaries, which edged out the sitting governor of the state, Godwin Obaseki.
