"It Is Over For The PDP" - Imansuangbon Declares As He Joins Labour Party

Mr Kenneth Imansuangbon, one of the Peoples Democratic Party’s aspirants for Edo State governorship race has boasted that he had ‘God’s backing’ to emerge as the state governor.

Naija News understands that PDP in Edo State during the last weekend examined three of its aspirants ahead of the state’s gubernatorial scheduled for September 2020. However, Kenneth who was screened virtually during the exercise has said that he is not given up on the race.

Other two aspirants from the party include Gideon Ikhine and Ogbeide Ihama, Naija News understands.

Speaking on his part, Kenneth in a recent interview with newsmen disclosed that he is confident of emerging victorious at the end of the poll.

He said, “God told me that I will be governor,”

“God has told me that. No man born of a woman will stop me. I can tell you I’m unstoppable. I have God and I have Edo people backing me,” said Kenneth while responding to questions from on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.

According to the aspirant, he had assurance from God and that no man will stop him from reaching there.

“Time and season belong to God. God knows when it will be but I’m applying myself to time,” he said

“I will not stop running to be governor of Edo state until I reach my goal. Make no mistake, I am a very resilient person, those who know me from my school days know me [for that]. I am a courageous man. My courage is as strong as steel.”

Kenneth boosts further that no aspirant in his party matches his qualifications, adding that he is fully capacitated to lead Edo State.

He, however, noted he will support the party’s candidate in the election if the PDP’s primary remains free and fair.

He added, “I’ll shake and hug whosoever wins and I will contribute my campaign money and material to whosoever wins but under one condition: it must be under a free and fair process.”

In another news, Naija News reported that the Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, AYCF, has reacted to the claim that Nigeria former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, will be contesting for Presidency in 2023.
