Reno Omokri, a former aide under ex-president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari over his stand against recent rape cases in the country.

The author and lawyer noted that it is no longer news that rape has become an epidemic in Nigeria that must be condemned.
Recall that a few rape cases were reported in the country in the recent week which includes Uwaila Omozuwa, a UNIBEN undergraduate student who was raped at a Church in Edo State.
Another was a Muslim lady identified by the name Barakat Bello who was raped in Ibadan, Oyo State.
