Transfer: Arsenal Contact Philippe Coutinho’s Agent

English Premier League side, Arsenal, has reached out to Philippe Coutinho’s agent over a move to the Emirates Stadium during te summer transfer window.

The club manager, Mikel Arteta, is keen on bringing the former Liverpool forward to the North London side from Barcelona.h

La Liga champions, Barcelona has revealed its interest to offload the Brazilian once he returns to the Camp Nou from his loan at Bayern Munich.

Chelsea is also interested in signing the playmaker, but the Gunners are believed to have made the first contact with agent Kia Joorabchian over a deal.

The Brazil international has spent the season on loan at Bayern Munich but the German champions are unwilling to make the deal permanent for €120 million (£105m).

Barcelona are looking to offload several players during the summer transfer window in order to fund new signings.
