Two People Test Positive For Coronavirus In Bauchi State

Two People have tested positive for Coronavirus in Bauchi State.

According to information gathered the two persons had contact with the state Governor, Bala Mohammed, who was diagnosed with COVID-19.

The Commissioner for Health in the state, Aliyu Maigoro, revealed the development in a situation update while speaking with journalists in Bauchi, the state capital on Thursday.

The twenty-seven people who came in contact with Governor Mohammed were earlier placed on compulsory self-isolation.

Gov. Mohammed tested positive to COVID-19 following contact with former Vice President’s son, Mohammed Atiku Abubakar, who is currently receiving treatment at Gwagwalada hospital in Abuja.
