The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has appealed to all Nigerians to disregard a “fake” website which claims that the federal government is issuing grants and financial assistance to Nigerians to help them stay secured and fight the deadly Covid-19 disease.
Speaking via a press statement through the NITDA Head, Corporate Affairs & External Relations, Hadiza Umar, it cautioned Nigerians not to visit the site which claims the Federal Government is giving every citizen N8,500 weekly following the outbreak of the coronavirus.
