The former Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II has arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

The former Governor the Central Bank of Nigeria, departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja (NAIA) around 10:30 p.m aboard a private jet belonging to Quits Aviation.

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State says he gave dethroned Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, double appointments because the Emir is a global asset that could turn around the economic fortunes of Kaduna state.

Naija News reports that he explained the rationale behind the appointments offered to Sanusi while fielding questions from newsmen on Friday in Awe, Nasarawa State when he came to visit the deposed monarch.

Osinbajo’s Convoy Involved In Accident, Escort Rider Killed

The convoy of the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, was on Friday involved in an accident while on the way to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

The spokesperson of the vice president, Laolu Akande also confirmed the incident to our correspondent. Naija News understands that one of the outriders in the convoy of the Vice President died in the accident.

APC Leaders Unveil Candidate To Replace Oshiomhole As National Chairman

Some leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have identified a replacement for embattled National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole.

The APC leaders from the south-south zone have also insisted that the party’s National Executive Committee meeting scheduled for next Tuesday must hold and also urged all members of the party from the six states in the zone to be in attendance.

I Will Not Stop Challenging Gov. Ayade – Agba Jalingo

Nigerian Journalist, Agba Jalingo, who was on August 30, 2020, arrested and charged for treason by Governor Benedict Bengioushuye Ayade’s led administration in Cross River State, has narrated his ordeal while he was in prison.

Jalingo on Friday (today) in an interview with TVC program ‘Fire Works’ debunked accusations that were made against him as regards treason, noting that the state governor is just trying to avoid been criticized.
