Veteran Nigerian musician, Eedris Abdulkareem has said dethroned Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido is paying the price for sponsoring propaganda against ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.
He said this in reaction to the news of the sack of Emir Sanusi by the Kano State government on Monday.
Taking to Instagram, Abdulkareem who made reference to the bribery allegation against Governor Abdullahi Ganduje mocked Sanusi, saying “a corrupt man caught stuffing dollars into his babariga removed you from office!”
Naija News recalls the Kano State government on Monday, sacked Emir Sanusi over allegations of gross insubordination to constituted authorities and further banished him to Nasarawa State.
“Dear Sanusi Lamido, a corrupt man caught stuffing dollars into his babariga removed you from office!
“It’s an unfortunate situation but this is the price you have to pay for championing the Jonathan is Corrupt cause with no evidence but propaganda.
“Today, you are witnessing the real corruption! Goodluck!” Abdulkareem said on his Instagram page.
Meanwhile, Naija News reports one of the sons of late Emir of Kano, Ado Bayero, Aminu Ado Bayero has been named as Sanusi’s replacement.
