Orosanye Report: Reduce Your Cabinet Size Too - Adegboruwa Tells Tinubu

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, has reacted to the ruling of the Supreme Court which sacked the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Bayelsa State, David Lyon.

Following the decision of the apex court to sack the governor-elect and his party, APC decided to return to the court seeking a review of the judgement.

The court on Wednesday described the case filed by the APC as vexatious, frivolous and an abuse of the court.

The Supreme court also slammed N60m fine against Afe Babalola and Olanipekun.

Adegboruwa while reacting to the judgement of the court in a statement he released on Wednesday said, “Bravo to the Supreme Court.”

“Interest Rei Publicae Res Jidicatas Non-Rescindi (It is in the interest of the State that things decided are not rescinded).”

“Let all candidates and their parties wait for the next election. We cannot because of a four-year political tenure denigrate the most sacred institution of democracy.”

“I hail the Justices of the Supreme Court for their courage and sagacity, which should be replicated in all other frivolous applications still pending for review.”

“Enough is enough! The Court will rise!”
