Full Text Of Supreme Court Judgment On Imo State Governorship Election

The Supreme Court of Nigeria on Tuesday, 14th January 2020, sacked Emeka Ihedioha as the governor of Imo State.

The apex court also ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to issue a certificate of return to Hope Uzodinma, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the authentic governor of the state.

The supreme court judgment on Imo State has been generating several reactions and controversy, particularly as the court didn’t explain or make public the reason for its decision immediately.
