Breaking: President Buhari Appoints Ex-DG DSS As NISS Chairman

Following the appointment of Mallam Garba Abubakar as the substantive Registrar-General of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) by President Muhammadu Buhari, in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, to the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, through the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, OSGF, the president has again made a fresh appointment.

According to the statement given by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, on January 14, he disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed ex-director general of Department of State Services (DSS), A.A. Gadzama, as the new chairman of the National Institute for Security Studies (NISS).

Naija News understands that the appointment has taken effect from December 16, 2019, for an initial four years.

Gadzama’s appointment has been confirmed by the public relations officer of the Department for State Services (DSS), Peter Afunanya.
