Nigerian Vice President, Prof.Osinbajo Commissions Flyover Bridges In Kano

Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo is currently in Kano State on a one-day official visit to commission some major infrastructure projects.

Naija News Understands that Professor Osinbajo who arrived at the VIP Wing of the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport hailed the Kano state Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje for toeing the steps of the federal government in infrastructural development.

The vice president who received by the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, his Deputy, Nasiru Gawuna and senior government officials. will use the occasion of his visit to commission the 2.7-kilometer long Alhassan Dantata Bridge in Sabon Gari as well as the Tijjani Hashim Flyover in Kofar Ruwa areas of the state.

Osinbajo has also inspected the progress of the construction of the Sheikh Nasiru Kabara flyover at Shahuchi quarters.

He is also expected to perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the on-going multi-billion naira Kano Cancer Centre at Muhammad Buhari specialist hospital, Giginyu.
