Tottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho, is set to hijack Chelsea’s plan to sign Moussa Dembele from Lyon.
According to Goal, the former Manchester United manager is attracted to the 23-year-old forward due to his goalscoring record for Lyon.
Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard for days has revealed his interest in the French Ligue 1 striker.
Recall that the Blues had claimed that it will offer Olivier Giroud and cash to Lyon in the bid to sign Dembele in this January’s transfer window.
There were speculations that the West London side have agreed to personal terms with Dembele to move to Stamford Bridge this month.
However, Mourinho is keen on signing the talented striker due to Harry Kane’s hamstring injury on his left leg that will keep him out of action until April.
The President of Lyon, Jean-Michel Aulas, had noted that Dembele was not for sale during the January transfer window.
