English Premier League side, Chelsea are said to be interested in Lyon striker, Moussa Dembele, in the January transfer window.
The West London side are willing to offer Oliver Giroud and cash for the Lyon striker.
The Blues manager, Frank Lampard, had revealed that the club board permitted him to sign Dembele during the January transfer window.
Lyon had reportedly turned down Chelsea’s initial offer of around £34million for Dembele.
According to the UK Sun the Premier League side are willing to offer Lyon £40million and Giroud to sign Dembele.
Dembele since joining the club from Celtic last year has scored 29 goals in 62 appearances in all competitions.
The club manager, Rudi Garcia is not willing to allow Dembele to leave the club.
Former Arsenal striker, Giroud has only played seven matches across all competitions for the Blues this season.
