Arsenal Players Tell Board Who To Appoint As Emery’s Replacement

Arsenal Players are requesting the former manager of Napoli, Carlo Ancelotti as the rightful replacement for Unai Emery who was recently sacked from the club.

However, the former Arsenal captain, Mikel Arteta seems to be the favourite to replace Emery at the Emirates while Ancelotti is set to join Everton.

Naija News had earlier reported that the club’s managing director, Vinai Venkatesham and contracts negotiator Huss Fahmy, were pictured leaving Arteta’s house in the early hours of Monday.

According to UK Mirrors, the Arsenal players are throwing their weights behind Ancelotti due to his experience.

The former Napoli coach has managed top clubs like Chelsea, Real Madrid, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain in the past and won the Champions League a few times.

Arteta has only been Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City since he retired from playing.
