President Buhari Meets APC Governors In Aso Rock

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday afternoon, met with State Governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party.

Naija News reports that President Buhari met with APC governors at the State House in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

This online news platform understands that the APC governors were led to the meeting by Atiku Bagudu, the Governor of Kebbi State, north-western Nigeria.

Bashir Ahmad, the Personal Assistant on New Media to President Buhari made this known in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, on Thursday evening.

The Presidential aide tweeted: “President @MBuhari this afternoon, met with members of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (APC Governors’ Forum) led by Governor @AABagudu of @KBStGovt at the State House, Abuja.”

Those at the meeting include the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Kayode Fayemi, the governor of Ekiti State, Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, among others.
