Breaking: APC’s Smart Adeyemi Sends Dino Melaye Out Of Senate

Smart Adeyemi, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party, has sent Senator Dino Melaye out of the Nigerian Senate.

Naija News reports that Adeyemi did this by winning the Kogi west rerun election.

This online news platform understands that the APC candidate was declared the winner of the Kogi west senatorial election.

The returning officer of the election Olayinde Lawal declared Adeyemi winner at the end of the rerun on Saturday, November 30.

According to the INEC returning officer, Adeyemi polled 88,373 votes to defeat his closest challenger, Dino Melaye of the PDP who got 62,133 votes.
