Live Updates: 2019 Kogi Governorship Election Results From Different LGAs

Results from the Kogi governorship election  has started coming in from different Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the north-central state, with most Nigerians anxiously waiting to know who is winning.

Naija News reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) commenced the Kogi governorship election at exactly 8 am on Saturday, November 16, amidst tight security.

Kogi people  voted from a list of 23 political parties and in the governorship election which was marred by violence on Saturday.

In the build-up to the elections, incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party and Musa Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, have popped up clearly as top contenders for the office of the Governor.

This online news platform understands that Governor Bello is winning in some part of the country. Wada is winning also in some places where elections took place.
