Nigerians React As Oshiomhole Claims Obasanjo Travelled More Than Buhari As President
Nigerians Mock Oshiomhole Over Buhari’s Travels
An attempt by Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to defend President Muhammadu Buhari’s foreign trips has attracted mixed reactions from Nigerians.
The APC chairman made the submission after the Supreme Court victory to Buhari against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar on Wednesday.
In his submission, while fielding questions from newsmen in Abuja, Oshiomhole claimed Chief Olusegun Obasanjo during his time as a democratically elected president of Nigeria, embarked on more trips than President Buhari.
A claim which has been attracting various comments on Twitter. See some reactions below:
President Obasanjo Travelled More Than Buhari – Adams Oshiomhole
OBJ visited all states in Nigeria not just for campaign purposes.
OBJ travels got Nigeria debt relief.
OBJ travels reshaped Nigeria’s int. image.
Sadly same can’t be said for Buhari

“Obasanjo travelled more than Buhari”- Adams Oshiomhole.
Obasanjo travelled a lot to work for Nigeria, pay off our foreign debt and move our nation forward.
Buhari travels a lot to get medical attention, to escape from the other room and to go sight-seeing.

Obasanjo travelled more than Buhari?
Think!!!
It was post-military.
It is was needful and desirable for him to do so; build/rebuild relations, procure aids, seek investment.

Foreign trips: Buhari yet to match Obasanjo’s record — Oshiomhole
No attempt to advance plausible reasons for Buhari’s junket
No regards for citizen’s sensitivities
Typical of the stupid arguments of morons

Obasanjo traveled more with positive results unlike Buhari who traveled most with nothing to show for than waste of our scarce resources
