Tunde Bakare Breaks Silence On Osinbajo Saga

The General Overseer and senior pastor of Latter Rain Assembly, Lagos, Pastor Tunde Bakare has denied claims of granting an interview on issues about Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

The popular pastor also called on the general public to disregard any interview credited to him on the saga surrounding Prof. Osinbajo.

He, however, noted that if contacted, he would speak personally with parties involved, but won’t make any public statement on the matter.

Naija News recalls there have been insinuations that members of a powerful cabal are attempting to deal with Osinabjo in order to remove him from reckoning ahead of the 2023 presidential elections in Nigeria.

Pastor Bakare said:

“I believe the government is perfectly capable of addressing the issues.”

“I have not and I am not granting interviews on this current VP saga. If, however, my counsel is sought at all, I will handle that confidentially and not in public” he told the cable on phone.

Meanwhile, Naija News earlier reported that Pastor Bakare might be contesting the 2023 presidential election in the country.

This is coming after videos of the fiery pastor emerged online in which he claimed he will be Nigeria’s next president after Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
