Residents of Yimirmigza village in Kautikari ward, Chibok local government area of Borno, today, scampered for there life when suspected Boko Haram terrorists laid siege on their village.
The attack is coming less than five hours after Nigerian Presidency disclosed that Leah Sharibu, the Christian Dapchi Secondary Schoolgirl, kidnapped by Boko Haram for about 3 years, was still alive.
According to TheCable, that took to their heels on hearing gunshots suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists.
A resident of the village who gave an account of the attack said: “They came in this evening and started shooting sporadically. Most of the villagers have run into the bush,” the source said.
“We don’t know if there are casualty yet because right now the insurgents are still in charge of the village.”
