Edo Police Officers Kill Four Teenagers Robbers In Edo

Operatives of the Edo state Police command have killed four teenage armed robbers for allegedly stealing a Toyota Venza car at gunpoint.

Naija News understands that the two of the robbers were killed during an intense gun duel between the police and the robbers, while the other two died after sustaining bullet injuries from the gunbattle.

A source who witnessed the scene revealed that the robbers had snatched the Venza car along the Etete Road, GRA.

The owner of the car who was said to have immediately informed the Police, a decision that swung the Police operatives into action and got the car tracked to the Country Home Hotel Road where the robbers were accosted and thereafter engaged in a gun duel.

This online news platform understands that the robbers were between Fifteen and Nineteen years of age.

One of the robbers, 18 years of age before he gave up the ghost, confessed that they were taking the car to Lagos State for sale before luck ran out of them and were intercepted by the Police.

While confirming the incident, the Commissioner of Police in the state, Danmallam Abubakar expressed confidence in the operatives of the state Police, stressing that the incident showed the police in Edo are on top of its game.
