President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, over the killing of his daughter Funke Olakunrin. Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu says killers of Mrs. Funke Olakunrin, daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, must be apprehended and made to face the law. Naija News understands that the Ondo state governor made the declaration while reacting to the dastardly killing of Mrs. Olakunrin by gunmen on Friday, July 12.

5. Court Sustains Sowore’s Suspension As AAC National Chairman

The suspension of the National Chairman, African Action Congress (AAC), Mr. Omoyele Sowore has been sustained by a Federal High Court, sitting in Abuja. The Court of Appeal in Abuja on Friday rejected an appeal challenging President Muhammadu Buhari’s academic qualification. The presiding judge, Justice Mohammed Idris, dismissed the suit on the grounds that it was statute-barred.
