Afcon 2019: Super Eagles Line-up Revealed

Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr, has dropped Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho and striker Odion Ighalo from his sides Africa Cup of Nations opener against Burundi.

Daniel Akpeyi and Paul Onuachu will take up their places in the Super Eagles line-up.

The German tactician has also handed starts to captain Join Mile Obi as well as Stoke City midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo.

Villarreal winger, Samuel Chukwueze, who had an outstanding season in LaLiga, takes the place of Samuel Kalu, who collapsed in training on Friday.

The match will kickoff 6 pm WAT.
