Just In: Two Kidnapped FRSC Officers Released

Two officers of Federal Road Safety Corps simply identified as Abioye and Bayegunni, abducted on Sunday by gunmen along Ilesha/Akure Expressway, has been released Punch reports.

Naija News recalls that the Osun Police Command had earlier promised to rescue the two officers of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) after their abduction on Sunday.

The two men were abducted near Iwaraja, a town in Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State. The two men, according to reliable sources were released late Tuesday evening.

Naija News learnt that a senior FRSC officer, who pleaded anonymity confirmed the release.
