Lady Collapses After Bagging Death Sentence

A 36-year-old lady identified as Stella Gilbert, on Tuesday collapsed before a Lagos court when she was found guilty and sentenced to death for killing her neighbour.

Naija News understands that Gilbert had earlier stabbed her neighbour, Stella Godwin to death after an argument broke out between them.

Gilbert was reported to have stabbed her neighbour who is a mother-of-three in the in their home in the Ajegunle area of Lagos state.

She was found guilty on a one-count charge of murder brought against her by the Lagos State government.

Gilbert collapsed immediately after the Presiding judge over her case, Justice Raliat Adebiyi found her guilty and sentenced her to death.
