Why Gbajabiamila Should Be Speaker – Fani-Kayode

Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has backed the Leader of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila for the office of the Speaker of the Ninth assembly.

Naija News reports that Gbajabiamila on Sunday declared his intention to contest for the Speakership.

Gbajabiamila said he was in the race to unite the nation and bring good governance closer to the people.

Reacting in a post on Twitter, Fani-Kayode said the House of Reps leader will make a good speaker.

“I have known Femi Gbajabiamila for 40 years and I can assure you that he will make a great Speaker of the Fed. House of Representatives.

“We may disagree politically but I must confess that he is a profoundly good man representing a great constituency. I wish him well,” he wrote.
