Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has condemned the killing of Nigerians and other Africans in South Africa.
Naija News recalls that they have been renewed violence against foreign nationals and damage to their properties in South Africa.
This comes after a graphic video and imagery made rounds on social media this week wherein protests erupted and foreign nationals were attacked, with police having to intervene in the areas of and surrounding Kenville, Inanda Road and Sea Cow Lake in Durban.
Reacting to the renewed violence on his Twitter page, Fani-Kayode called for an end to the killing of Nigerians and other Africans in the country.
He wrote: “The murder of Nigerians and other Africans in South Africa must stop.
“The South African people appear to have forgotten the great efforts and tremendous support that Nigeria gave to them during their liberation struggle and the fight against apartheid and white minority rule.
“It is a pity that black South Africans are now treating other black Africans in the same way that white South Africans once treated them.”
