Molde React As Manchester United Sign Solskjaer Permanently

Norwegian club Molde have congratulated former head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on his appointment as Manchester United’s permanent manager.

Solskjaer left his post at the Norwegian club in December to take charge at Old Trafford as caretaker boss, following the departure of Jose Mourinho.

It was reported United will pay Molde around £7m to give Solskjaer the job on a full-time basis.

In a post on Twitter on Thursday, the club congratulated Solskjaer on his new adventure.

“Molde thank Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for the efforts he has made for MFK, and wish him continued success!” Molde wrote.

The £7m fee is more than Molde have ever received for a player.
