AFCON: Super Eagles To Depart Nigeria For Tunisia Today For Libya Match

The Super Eagles will depart Nigeria for Sfax, Tunisia on Monday, ahead of their Tuesday return leg match against Libya in the Africa Cup of Nation qualifier.

The game will be played at the 18,000 capacity Stade Taïeb Mhiri, the home ground of Tunisia Premier League side, CS Sfaxien.

The Kick-off time for the match is at 7pm Nigerian time.

Further report has it that the Super Eagles will also depart Sfax immediately after the match and arrive in Abuja in the early hours of Wednesday, 17 October.

Naija News recalls the Eagles had defeated Libya 4-0 on Saturday at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium Uyo, with Odion Ighalo putting home three goals and Samuel Kalu scoring the other goal.

Super Eagles currently occupy the second position in the Group E table with six points, one point behind South Africa.
