Buhari Sends Condolence To Family Of Murdered Health Worker

President Muhammadu Buhari has sent his condolence to the children and entire family of midwife and humanitarian worker, Saifura Hussaini Ahmed.

Recall NaijaNews reported that the Boko Haram insurgents, killed Saifura, one of the three humanitarian workers abducted in Rann, Kala Balge local government area of Borno state

In a video, Saifura was wearing a white hijab and was shot from behind, after the insurgents claimed that they had contacted government over the captives but were ignored.

“We contacted the government through writing and also sent audio messages but the government have ignored us. So, here is a message of blood,” said a spokesman of the group who did not give his name.

“The other nurse and midwife will be executed in similar manner in one month, including Leah Sharibu.”

President Buhari took to his twitter handle to express his condolences to the family of the late health worker.

He sent his condolences to International Committee of the Red Cross, and UNICEF.
