Okechukwu Ask For Support Of Party Members In His District

Osita Okechukwu, Director General of the Voice of Nigeria, has claimed that he will put an end to the political game of the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.

He revealed this in a statement on Wednesday, while speaking about his interest to contest for a sit in the Senate under the All Progressives Congress in the 2019 general election.

Okechukwu said he would be contesting against Ekweremadu to represent Enugu West Senatorial District.

He urged his party members in the district to support his ambition, adding that he would retire Ekweremadu from the Senate.

My dear APC compatriots, may I seek your endorsement to retire Ike Ekweremadu from the Senate. I pledge to give the good people of Enugu West Senatorial District the following service – selfless, revamp Enugu coal, eastern corridor railway and cassava and rice settlement,” he said.

He did not reveal when he would officially declare his intention in Enugu.
