Money Rain For The Super Eagles Team

Senate President, Bukola Saraki has awarded a cash donation of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to the Super Eagles ahead of their international friendly game with the Three Lions of England.

This occurred at an event held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja on Tuesday evening, to bid the Super Eagles team farewell to the Russia 2018 World Cup tournament.

Saraki was full of praises for the current team, describing them as dedicated and determined.

“I have been following the performances and general behaviour of this squad. I must confess that I am very impressed,” said Saraki.

“We no longer have schisms and different camps in the same camp, and you sacrifice a lot for the country without demanding so much before you go to battle.

“From the captain, Mikel Obi to the newest member of the squad, I assure you of the love of the entire country and the well-wishes of every Nigerian as you go to the Fifa World Cup and in fact, in all your endeavours.”

Naija News learnt Saraki also pledged an undisclosed package for the team for every unreplied goal when the competition gets underway in Russia.

The Eagles will take on England at the Wembley stadium on Saturday as the two teams continue preparations for the 2018 World Cup games.
