APC Will Experience Defection Tsunami Soon – Secondus
The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Uche Secondus, says “defection tsunami” will soon hit the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Secondus, speaking on the defection of some PDP members in Kogi and Adamawa states, in Abuja on Wednesday, said it was better to go into election with people who the party was sure would work for its success.
He maintained that the national leadership and other stakeholders of the party were working assiduously to ensure that the party wins the 2019 elections.
It would be recalled former Special Adviser on Political Matters to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Ahmed Gulak, decamped to the APC in Adamawa on Saturday, with some other 16 PDP chieftains.
Gulak claimed that he left the APC due to alleged impunity in the party.
“It is time for us to formally register as APC members. It is time to formally bury the PDP in Adamawa State,” Gulak said.
