Ahmed Musa Joins Kano Pillars On Short Term Deal

Russian top division side, CSKA Moscow, have announced the return of Super Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa to the club he departed in 2016.

The Nigeria international reportedly joined Leicester City for a club record fee of £16 million following their remarkable run to the premier league title under coach Claudio Rianeri but has failed to make the expected impact at the King Power Stadium.

He has therefore been allowed to return to CSKA Moscow on loan for the remainder of the season though Leicester are yet to confirm the deal.

“Ahmed will be included in the Red-Blues’ squad list for the national league and the Europa League knockout stage,” said a CSKA statement on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, another Super Eagles forward, Brown Ideye has also joined Spanish side, Malaga from Chinese club,Tianjin Teda until the end of the 2017-18 season.

“Brown Ideye is on loan to Málaga CF for the remainder of the season, from Chinese outfit, Tianjin Teda,” the statement reads on the club website.

“The striker successfully passed the relevant medical examination at Vithas Salud Rincón Medical Center Rosaleda.”

Ideye, only moved to China in February 2017 and will hope to rediscover his goal scoring boots to be able to join the Super Eagles team heading for the 2018 World cup tournament in Russia.
