The Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (LAGESC) has arrested street traders and hawkers.

The individuals including cart pushers and some residents were arrested on Wednesday for dumping waste on road medians and canals, contrary to the Environmental Sanitation Laws of the state.

LAGESC has been charged to enforce the ban on the illegal dumping of refuse and street trading.
