Coach Gernot Rohr will likely start the Super Eagles’s game against Argentina with a three-man defence as he switches to the 3-5-2 formation.
This will be the first time coach Gernot Rohr will be playing with a three-man defence since he became Nigeria’s coach.
The Eagles match against South American giants, Argentina in Tuesday’s friendly at the Krasnodar Stadium in Russia will kick of by 5:00 pm Nigerian time.
South Africa based, Chippa United’s goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi will be in between the sticks.
Awaziem will join the defensive partnership of Leon Balogun and William Ekong-Troost in a three-man defence.
Shehu Abdullahi and Ola Aina will play in the wing-back position.
