The Zambian senior national team, have rejected the Le Méridien Hotel as their base ahead of the all important Russia 2018 qualifying match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Saturday, October 7.
The Zambians arrived in Uyo on Wednesday, and decided to lodge at the Davok Suites in Ewet Housing Estate in Uyo instead of the Le Méridien hotel which had been reserved for them by the NFF.
Information made available to Naija News, revealed the Zambians are leaving nothing to chance as they arrived in Uyo with their water, food and everything they could possibly need in Nigeria.
The Chipolopolos are expected to hold their first training session in Uyo on Friday before the game on Saturday.

The Cameroonians, who lost 4-0 to the Super Eagles earlier in September, also stayed at the Davok Suites in Ewet Housing Estate after rejecting the accommodation from the NFF for fear of Nigerian witchcraft and juju.
A win for Nigeria in Saturday’s game will guarantee a spot for Nigeria at the Russia 2018 world cup while a draw or a win for Zambia will mean both teams will wait till the final day to decide which country picks the sole ticket in Group B.
The game is scheduled to kick off by 5:00pm Nigerian time tomorrow at the Godwill Akpabio stadium in Uyo.
